swimming is my favorite sport. i think it is one of the best forms of physical exercise and also a beneficial exercise to help people keep fit and have fun.apart from a formfitting bathing suit or bathing trunks, you need no other special equipment for swimming. the indoor fitness centers in the city offer standard-sized swimming pools with a pleasant temperature. what you need to do is just overcome the fear of water. i remember when i first started learning to swim. i screamed and struggled like crazy in the pool. fortunately, i had a good instructor, who gave me lots of encouragement and guidance. he instructed me how to keep the best possible position by getting the body straight and long. then he taught me the fundamentals of breathing patterns above and under water, and how to remain calm and balanced. when i got the hang of these things i felt comfortable and mastered swimming strokes quicklynow, i can do things like freestyle and even butterfly that is difficult to master. i enjoy swimming not only because it keeps me in shape, but because it builds up my persistence and confidence. the feeling of overcoming fear and managing to touch the end wall is amazing.
